What Causes Tiny Red Bumps On Stomach Area?

I am looking for a dermatologist in the Norwich, NY area. My adult disabled daughter has Medicare and Medicaid. Many physicians do not accept Medicaid so I am in the process of choosing an HMO. My daughter has acne scars and feels very inhibited. Also she has tiny red bumps appearing on her stomach region. Any theories as to what may be causing this?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history your daughter is having either miliria or allergic dermatitis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
MBBS, DDVL.
