What Causes Tiredness And Dizziness While Suffering From Diabetes?
I have type 2 diabetes. Today after lunch I got super tired and dizzy. Went to sleep and slept for hours. When I got up, could hardly walk and my head was spinning, still happening but I am sitting. My go registers as HI on my meter. I don t know what to do.
I'm sorry you are experiencing this. Your blood sugar, was obviously high and this is most probably the reason you are feeling dizzy and tired. Please make sure you take your usual dosage of medication and check your sugar levels again in half an hour. Also, if possible, measure your blood pressure. When feeling dizzy, please make sure you sit down to avoid any falls and always check your glucose levels before going out. Should you continue to feel like this, a visit with your doctor would be in order.
Feel better soon. All the best
