What Causes Tiredness And Frequent Urination After Taking Topamax?

I just saw my neurologist and we decided to up my Topomax from 150mg to 200g. I am always tired in the afternoon (could easily nap some days - also take Wellbutrin and Prozac) and recently had either a bladder infection or bladder inflammation (doc wasn t sure so treated with antibiotics). Could the tiredness and past bladder issue and ongoing issue (I always have that frequent urination feeling) be because of the topirimate? I didn t think of these things until I got home.

Hi,

I think you should do an uroculture to clear if you have an infection or not and which bacteria is causing it and which antibiotics can be used.

The tiredness comes from the medications you are taking. Maybe you need to lower dose.
