What Causes Tiredness And Loss Of Appetite While On Thyroid Medication?

My wife aged 52 has multiple issues. She is tired most days and never seems to quench her appetite. She has been tested for diabetes which came up negative. She j it st recently had blood work done for hormone levels...results in 2weeks. She takes thyroid medicine daily. Some days she fine most days tired...at a loss for answers

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

She has thyroid problems.

Now she has symptoms of tiredness and loss of appetite. These can be seen in hypothyroidism.

She may have hypothyroidism.

She should go for T3, T4 and TSH level. Then set the dosage of thyroxin accordingly.
