What Causes Tiredness And Sleepiness After Eating With Pain In The Left Arm?
Hello doctor, Every time after eating, I feel really tired and sleepy and need to go to sleep right away. Before, it only happend if I ate toast and eggs, now, I feel tired with everything even fish and veggie. And just for a week now, my left cheek bone kind of hurt and my left arm hurt when I raise up. should I be alert? Thanks doctor.
I would advise you to have frequent small meals to avoid symptoms after food. For instance, it might be better to have 5-6 small meals than to have 2-3 big meals. This way there is something in your stomach always and there is not a big difference when you feed. Making sure you drink plenty of fluids and keep well hydrated is important as well. As for the chest and arm pain, if they are related to standing up, which means they are related to movements than very likely this is due to muscle and taking some ibuprofen and paracetamol might help. If you notice no improvement with that you will need to see your doctor.
I hope this is helpful and answers to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
