What Causes Tiredness And Soreness In Body Post Placement Of Implanon?

Hi I ve got on implanon a month ago I was fine the first two weeks but recently have been having unusual side effects. I ve been having unusual tiredness, soreness in my body a lot of it is my legs and arms. A bit of loss of apetite. I feel cold. Is it possible my body is rejecting the impant?

Hello and welcome.

Your body is not rejecting the implant, the implant causes changes in hormone levels which could be causing your symptoms.

But I would also recommend a check on your thyroid profile as a few symptoms may match a thyroid abnormality. Any diagnosed abnormality should be corrected, but if your symptoms are just due to the hormonal imbalance from the implanon then they should slowly subside.
