Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Tiredness And Weight Loss In A Diabetic Patient?
I have type 1 diabetes and graves disease, lately I have lost 40 lbs in les than 6 months. I am tired, bones achy and arms itchy. My diabetes is under control and I take medication for graves disease. What do you think I should do about this. My doctor is aware of my situation. All blood work comes back normal.
Your symptoms seem to be related to diabetes. I recommend doing regular measurements of glycemia and a complete blood count. I also recommend using a multivitamin supplement to boost your energy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
