What Causes Tiredness/depression After MI

I am 70 just had an MI one month ago and a stent put in .............was told to stop provera 2.5mg and climara 0.05mg immediately not sure if I m so tired/depressed post MI or post hormonal withdrawal..not getting any concrete answers from cardiologist or gyn MD

Hello! Thank you for askin on HCM! Regarding your concern I would emphasize 3 issues that could help to explain your situation:
(1) MI when clinically important may severely impair cardiac function and that way give rise to heart failure, which would manifest with tiredness, limited physical activity and consequent depression.
(2) After hormonal supplements withdrawal it is important to check your basal blood hormonal levels to rule out drastic changes.
(3) When dealing with MI, which is a major life-threatenig condition it is an ordinary consequence to appear any forms of deppression in the majority of patients during the first year post MI.
