What Causes Tiredness, Sharp Pain In Right Shoulder And Belching?

hello my dad is 66 yrs old for past 2 wks has had low energy, and his right shoulder and arm have sharp pains. He belches a lot and says that it feels very good but it doesnt ever seem to get better. he has not changed any of his eating habits and he is very healthy and active. doesnt take any pills or have any health problems until now. what could this be?

Your father is 66 yrs old.It means he need to be investigate for diabetes and hypertension. Shoulder tip pain sometimes presents as frozen shoulder in undetected Diabetics and uncontrolled diabetes. So first rule out that.One more reason for that is Diaphragmatic pain which presents as shoulder tip pain.If he is negative for diabetes then go to gastro enterologist.Belchings r due to gastritis.Ask him to take Nexpro fast one per day in night for 15 days.If he is not getting better he may need endoscopy of stomach.Hope it may help u.
