My daughter went through a sleep study that shows she is sleeping during the night, but she is still tired during school. She gets to a certain tiredness and her body starts tremoring for about 35 minutes. Eyes lids, arms, legs and sometimes her stomach. The tremors are very rythemactic and if you try to stop them, it only gets worse. She now has balance problems on the rightside. She can not put one foot in front of the other one without tipping over. She took the ACT test and could not finish the test because she was so tired she wanted to sleep and could not concentrate. We have been to the National Institute of Health and it is not seizures and they call it a Functional Movement Disorder and it would go away in 8 months. It has already been 8 months therefore I think they have missed the diagnoses. I have realized doctors are only as good as what they have seen or been taught in school. Therefore I realize the more I ask other doctors the more knowledge I gain to help my daughter. What does this sound like? We have had MRI s and EEG s and so far have shown nothing.
