Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, my daughter every so often becomes ill where she constantly vomits for 2-3 days, it is actually not sick but a green/black bile that comes out when she vomits, she can fill a bucket of this stuff up overnight she at this point is unable to walk and even passes out with this several times. she gets so weak that she is unable to walk and was involved in a car crash recently when the symptons came on as she passed out at the wheel. she has been admitted to hospital several times where i feel the doctors are not looking into the matter further and just say it is gastric. i do not believe it is gastric as i myself am a gastric sufferer and the symptons are not that of gastric.
Its seems from the symptoms and history that you have explained, it doesnt seem to be gastric in nature.
It looks like she has a some obstruction in the intestine, mainly duodenum or the jejunum, and 2nd most important thing, she has lost so much of fluids due to vomiting that's why she is passing out.
I will advise you to take your daughter to the nearest Emergency Room for IV fluids and further evaluation and blood tests.
I hope this will help. If you have any further questions, i will be happy to answer.
Regards,
Dr. Vivek
