lately I've been experiencing sensitivity at the tip of my tongue i though it was spicy or sour foods but even when I drink wine or eat chocolate I experience the same as with spicy foods I have checked for lacerations and there are none it is becoming a problem when eating
Sensitivity of the tongue tip while eating can be due to inflammation of the tongue tip caused due to a number of causes like injury with any sharp tooth, tongue biting, nutritional deficiencies etc..
So first of all start applying Lidocaine gel over the tongue tip to reduce inflammation.. Take a Becosule tablet daily. Suck ice pops and do warm saline gargles.. Avoid irritant foods.. In case if you do not see any improvement in a week consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
Hope this helps .
Regards.
