Understanding your concern. As per your query you have tonsillitis after having unprotected sex, well oral sex can cause you these symptoms due to improper cleanliness of genitals. It seem sto be due to severe infection of tonsils also known as tonsillitis by bacterial/ viral infection. Need not to worry. For now do warm saline gargles and betadine gargles . Avoid cold beverages and food. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist without any delay , because this infection can spread to the surroundings . Doctor may order certain tests like throat swab test , viral culture test and CT scan . Doctor may prescribe antibiotic course like cefixime at least for 10 days along with anti inflammatory . In some cases surgery to remove tonsils (tonsillectomy) may be used to treat tonsillitis.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
