What Causes Tooth Split Post Root Canal Procedure?
I had a root canal done 1 week ago and the tooth split in two after the procedure was done. Now I have to get my tooth pulled. What caused the tooth to split? I didn t bite on it for 5 days later, and when I did bite on it, it was se verly infected and painful. Is there a reason why my tooth split?

Your tooth might have became weak due to root canal treatment. In this procedure, the pulp of the tooth which lies in the center is removed. Many a times, tooth becomes weak due to this. In such case, a cap should be placed over the tooth to prevent it from breakage. In you case, tooth might have not broke if such cap would have been put.
