Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hi my daughter is 24 yrs old she has traces of albumin in urine. she had this same problem when she was 17 yrs old for which she had a biopsy done treated with steroids for 6 months which the doctor said was normal between 0-14 yrs kids.she was normal after that except for skin rashes due to storoids is it serious
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern. Albumin is a protein present in blood. The kidneys normally do not filter such large molecules into the urine, so albuminuria can be an indicator of damage to the kidneys There are a number of conditions that could cause leakage of albumin in urine. 1.High blood pressure 2. Diabetic nephropathy 3.Congestive heart failure 4. Metabolic syndrome, or kidney damage from nephrotic syndrome
Hope your query is solved
