What Causes Trembling While Talking And Neck Pain?
There is shakiness and trembling when my sister talks. What could be causing this and stops when she is holding her jaw. She has neck pain and a headache in the middle of her head. She feels as though she will get a seizure but then regains movement in her speech and the trembling comes and goes.
The diagnosis would depend somewhat on your sister's age, because some conditions are more common with certain age groups.
Parkinsons can cause these symptoms and may need to be considered.
Other causes of tremors are hyperthyroidism, alcohol use, liver disease, MS and other neurological conditions, electrolyte disturbance eg abnormal calcium.
It would be best for her to see her doctor as soon as possible for an assessment. She may need referral to a neurologist.
I hope this helps
