What Causes Tremors After The Increasing Bupropion Dosage?

I started an increased dosage (300 mg) of buprion hcl in November. I have recently been seen for tremors, lack of balance, fatigue. Based on results of MRI of head, I ve been prescribed Carbidopa-levodopa. Both of these affect dopamine so I wondered if thecombination could have negative results.

Hello,

Bupropion is an antidepressant drug. Hand tremors are a known side effect of Bupropion drug. Levodopa-Carbidopa, if used with Bupropion, could worsen these side effects and it is the probable reason you are seeing worsening of symptoms. If the tremors are resulting in the problem, then please discuss with your doctor and if needed reduce the dose of Bupropion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
