What Causes Tremors And Excessive Hunger While Having Low Blood Sugar?
I find that more often of late, I feel like my blood sugar is low . I feel a little shaky and have the sense I need to eat. About an hour and a half ago, I ate a bowl of blueberries with milk and a bit of sugar, and some celery sticks with peanut butter and raisins. I felt I had eaten enough. Just now, I feel this low blood sugar feeling. I grabbed a banana and googled this web site to investigate. Your thoughts?
I think you should get tested for diabetes doing fasting glucose levels and HbA1c and postprandial glucose levels. Sometimes diabetes can cause these symptoms of low blood sugar known as reactive hypoglycemia. Also, some drugs that cure diabetes can give it and if you are taking them this may be a side effect of them.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
