General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Tremors are commonly caused by hypoglycemia, thyroid issue (hyperactive thyroid), alcohol withdrawal symptom, chronic alcoholism, drug abuse, drug interactions, etc.

Avoid stress & anxiety (both physical & emotional), eat nutritious food, stay well hydrated (take ORS, juice, soups), cut on alcohol intake, cut on addictions if any, take adequate sleep, make new friends, stay active, listen to music, read books. Do regular exercises & take care of your personality & hygiene.

You are suggested to visit ER, get physically examined. You may have to get Nerve conduction tests, EEG, CT, nerve biopsy done to rule out any developing nerve problem (Neuropathy). Get it done to stay on the safer side. Get treated at the earliest.

In the meantime, you can take vitamin B6, B12 along with folic acid, zinc, calcium & minerals.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
