What Causes Trouble In Bowel Movements After C-section?
is it normal to have bowel trouble after having a c- section, i had one 4 months ago to deliver twins and since then i've had problems with wind and gotta go when i feel the urge! my gp told me it was my body readjusting to a normal diet as i had gestational diabetes in pregnancy. but surely it would have adjusted by now
You may be suffering from post-surgical chronic constipation. Probably, lack of fiber intake or continuous consumption of narcotic painkillers or sedentary lifestyle may cause Constipation.
Eat high fiber diet, regular exercise, and drinks plenty of water. Use Metamucil or Benefiber for soluble fiber.
If symptoms not improved, then please consult your doctor so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.
