What Causes Trouble In Breathing And Swallowing Difficulty After Taking A Pill?

my mother swallowed a pill about an hour ago and started choking and panicking. I thumped her in the back, then helped her calm down. She is obviously breathing, but is in discomfort. She says it feels stuck. I didn t think she should drink water, but then I just read something that said she should. Just gave her water 2 minutes ago, and told her to take small sips. Anything else I can do?

some times it creates a feeling like some thing got struck in the throat after taking pill. it is not h pill which got struck but the covering capsule or the outer layer gets applied like pain to the wall of the throat that gives the feeling.

to avoid this you have to take any tablets of pills with high quantity of water.

in case such feeling arise give plenty of water to drink after the cough subsides.
