What Causes Twitching In The Body While On Kadian, Lyrica And Wellbutrin?
im trying to find out about side effects of the drugs Kadian and Lyrica with Wellbutrin. Can your whole body sort of seize up momentarily almost like a momentary yawn or twitch. ( it s hard to explain) it comes at night when I get up for any reason or first thing in the morning. It s a very strange sensation and almost feels like everything including my breathing stops for a second. Are the drugs I take to blame?
Muscles twitching could be related to several conditions, some of them benign (electrolytes dysbalance, low blood levels of B group vitamins etc.), some of them serious neuromuscular diseases or thyroid and kidneys dysfunction.
Assessing the blood levels of electrolytes and vitamin B12 together with the thyroid and kidneys function tests should be the first step in the diagnosis of your condition.
EMG (nerve conduction study) and sleep study also are useful examinations in your case that may help in concluding a correct diagnosis.
The treatment possibilities depend upon the diagnosis.
These issues should be discussed with your primary care Doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
