What Causes Twitching In The Face After The Treatment For Abdomen Bleeding?

My mother who is 72 had a stroke 2 years ago, then she had stomach bleeding after recovering. I finally had the chance to take her home. I realized her face was twitching and after an hour or so. It had gotten worse. Then she stopped blinking. She started to drool. So I rushed her to the hospital. But it must of been almost 2 hours since Irealized her twitching. The doctor mentione she has a seizure. I might of made it worse, I should of rushed her to the hospital as soon as I her face spasm. I could have killed her for waiting

Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. By delaying seizures cannot be made worse. Only if there was any injury, it would have been a problem.
2. It was a localized seizure, hence unable to identify exactly.
3. Do not worry, regular antieplileptic medication will be helpful.
4. Also need to check calcium levels, as calcium deficiency commonly cause twitching. Stroke can cause brain tissue injury and abnormal electrical signals leading on to epilepsy. Not to worry, with regular medications, she will recover. Never stops antiepileptic medications, unless specified by treating doctor.
