Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i have twitching at times in lefft tempal area, no pian or headache. Sometimes there is a slight burnign feeling in the area above the twitch. I have been taking Zoloft for two years. I stopped it a few weeks ago and did not notice any problems. I started back and now have the twitching. I do sit in front of a computer too many hours at my job.
I would suggest you the following: 1. Only twitching in the temporal area sometimes occur due to muscle spasm or may it be a throbbing in the artery that you feel as twitching. Either way it not a serious problem as you are not having any other associated effects. 2. It is unlikely that zoloft is causing such twitching as it not a common side effect of zoloft. 3. If you feel that the twitching is causing trouble in any way or there are associated symptoms, kindly consult your physician. Have a nice time.
