What Causes Twitching In The Temple Area?

i have twitching at times in lefft tempal area, no pian or headache. Sometimes there is a slight burnign feeling in the area above the twitch. I have been taking Zoloft for two years. I stopped it a few weeks ago and did not notice any problems. I started back and now have the twitching. I do sit in front of a computer too many hours at my job.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
thank you for asking on health care magic.

I would suggest you the following:
1. Only twitching in the temporal area sometimes occur due to muscle spasm or may it be a throbbing in the artery that you feel as twitching. Either way it not a serious problem as you are not having any other associated effects.
2. It is unlikely that zoloft is causing such twitching as it not a common side effect of zoloft.
3. If you feel that the twitching is causing trouble in any way or there are associated symptoms, kindly consult your physician.
Have a nice time.
