What Causes Twitching Sensation All Over The Body?

I am twitching ALL over my body, and I have yet to find an answer for why. It s been going on for months. I have been to doctors and neurologists for this. A doctor said it could be because I am Vitamin D deficient. Other doctors say it could be because I am taking amitriptyline for sleep/anxiety, so I ve recently stopped taking it. I am still twitching. CT Scans came back showing no answers, and the neurologist said it isn t ALS. I m still searching for answers, so please help.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to dehydration.

Still for further assessment you may require complete hemogram, serum electrolytes, calcium levels after physician consultation.

Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.

Till then keep your self hydrated and take balanced diet.

Avoid sweating and strenuous activity

Hope I have answered your query...
Let me know if I can assist you further.
