Hi,
Noted the history of bulging discs in
cervical spine region pinching on nerves causing pains in the arms,
osteoarthritis, bone spurs and degeneration in lower back causing hte pains in legs and so on.
Since you are a diagnosed case with symptoms of nerve pinching the pressure has to be removed by an appropriate surgery.
I hope you have consulted your Neurosurgeon, have proper
counselling about hte indication of surgery, type of surgery, post-operative care and likely outcome as well as possible complications as this is a typical surgery.
Once you are comfortable with his decision go ahead with surgery to get a possible relief and cure too.
Also needed is to reduce your
stress and
anxiety levels as these cause muscle spasms and thus cause more symptoms.
Take care, go ahead with surgery.
Wishing you all the best.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant, ENT & General Surgeon
