What Causes Twitching Sensation In The Upper Eyelid?
I have been experiencing an twitch in my left upper eyelid now for a couple of months... it is typically brought on by sneezing or over excitement. One day I also had a spasm / pulling around my mouth that only lasted for a bit and as not returned. The eye twitching is becoming very bothersome... should I be concerned?
eyelid twitches could be due to several factors like eye strain too much screen time or lack of sleep alcohol caffeine any viral infections
should give rest plenty sleep if sleep deprived avoid all triggers caffeine etc
also take multivitamins and minerals as mineral deficiency of magnesium and calcium could interfere with muscle contraction and relaxation and nerve conduction functions take vitamin B12 and other B complex vitamin combinations. Neurbion) Usually it takes 1-2 weeks to self heal and get better if not needs to consult neurologist to rule out hemifacial spasms or other serious conditions and get appropriate treatment
