Muscle twitches without other accompanying symptoms are very common and benign conditions. It may last from few minutes to a few days. The commonest causes for muscle twitching are-
-Sleep deprivation
-nerve irritation
-Problem at neuromuscular junction
-local muscle injury

A light massage of the affected muscle sometimes relieves the twitch.
If the twitch is still there after a week or so then I would suggest a visit to a doctor.

Hope this answers your question, thank you.
