What Causes Two Small Painful Lumps On The Neck?

I have been having this horrible burning pain i believe it is in my upper left shoulder twards the back but also where my neck and shoulder meet no matter ehat i do or how i sit or lay the burning is unbearble Along with multiple lumps under my right armpit and just found one under my left today some are painful and two lumps on the right side of my neck. Those don t hurt. What could be going on?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have two small painful lumps on the neck . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like tonsillitis , strep throat and viral pharyngitis . The symptoms can also occur due to lymphadenopathy or localize infection . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test and CT scan to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin or penicillin along with anti allergic and anti inflammatory . Doctor may recommend tonsillectomy in case of severe tonsillitis refer you to gastroenterologist if the problem will be related to acid reflux . For now do warm saline gargles and avoid spicy and heavy food .
