Most of the ulcers in the genital organs are due to sexually transmitted diseases. You are advised to get STD tests done. Get clinically examined by a urologist and get done blood test, urinalysis and biopsy. It will help to detect syphilis, chancroid, chlamydia, genital herpes or HIV, you will be treated with antibiotics and antivirals.
In the meantime, avoid sex or any sexual activity for a couple of days. You are suggested to wear loose fitting cotton pants that do not rub against the penis. Take care of your hygiene, do not use harsh toiletries. Use mild soap that is herbal. Be gentle with yourself. You can apply ointment Acyclovir on the area affected. Ointment Soframycin also works well.
