What Causes Ulcers On The Penis After Intercourse?
Hello doctor I m a 26 year old male. I had a sexual encounter with an anonymous person a month back. 8-10 days after the encounter I started feeling irritation on my penis, and a lot of ulcer like small things developed on the foreskin(visible if you pull the foreskin back), and a little sweeping. I saw a doctor and he advised me to do an random blood sugar, VDRL, and TRIDOT. I took the tests 12 days after the risky encounter, all tests came negative. Before the results the doctor prescribed me zimvir 500 for 5 days. The irritation was completely gone. From the last one day I m feeling irritation again, though i can t see rashes or ulcers at the moment, but I feel the irritation. Could you please advice me as to what it could be?
As per your history is concerned you have already completed the course of medication so no chance to return again so in my opinion it is genital thrush so take medication FLUCONAZOLE-150 once as single dose for which you do not need any prescription. Use clotrimazole cream in the penis as local application and this is a non prescription drug.
I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me.
Wishing you all the best.
Thanks
