Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What causes sores on the tongue, mouth and sometimes the tissue in the mouth....mostly happens after eating or drinking citris fruit. Tongue usually breaks out in bumpy craters or individual round raised bumps. I also can't wear anything except gold. Other metals turn my skin green.
Canker sores in mouth and tongue can be due to eating citrus foods and is commonly seen due to high acid contents in citrus foods that can cause inflammation and damage to delicate mucosa inside mouth leading to ulcers.. Many individuals have very delicate mucosa and can get.ulcersore frequently when taking citrus foods.. So the best way to avoid ulcers is limit intake of irritant foods. Also avoid heavily spiced foods. Take Lysine and vitamin b complex supplements..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
