What Causes Ulcers Under Tongue Along With Nausea?
Hi, I have multiple ulcers under my tongue, a whitish tongue and pain in my chest. I ve been nauseated on and off for 2 weeks and two weeks ago, I fainted with no history of fainting. What could be wrong? I did an EKG and a CBC and Dr. says nothing looks suspicious.
As per your complain the symptoms you explained can be seen in case of Acid reflux disease and also in case of Anemia.
In case of acid reflux the acid from stomach regurgitates in the mouth leading to ulceration of tongue and other parts of mouth, burning and pain in chest, and formation of whitish layer on tongue along with nausea.
In this case consultation with Gastroenterologist is needed. As he can prescribe with antacids and acidity reliever medicines like Pantoprazole etc.
Other thing is that in case of anaemia also symptoms of tongue coating, ulceration and chest pain and fainting can be seen. A haemoglobin test to find out the Hb% can give you diagnosis and what treatment can be taken will be planned accordingly..
Hope you get well soon..
