What Causes Umbilical Pain Radiating To The Back And Shoulder Blade?

I have umbelical pain radiating into my back then into my right scapula. I had a lifting injury two weeks ago, they said it was chunia Quinta syndrome. At PT yesterday they had me lying on my stomach and lifting my legs upward. I got really hot and sweaty then felt like vomiting. I felt better after getting to my side. Should I be worried?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to appendicitis. I suggest you do an ultrasound and a physical examination to confirm the diagnosis.

Meanwhile, you take anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen three times a day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
