What Causes Unbearable Back Pain Despite Having Physical Therapy?
I have been going to my chiropractor a couple of times a week to put my sacrum back in place. Within an hour or less the pain again becomes unbearable. I am starting to feel pressure down my right leg that seems to be my sciatic nerve. I have already had two total knee replacements and degenerative issues I have had arthritis since my 20 s and just turned 54. Is this something my MD could treat with steroid injections? I don t know how long I can continue working like this and work is my life!
In my opinion, you should definitely consult an orthopedic doctor and get done clinical examination and MRI of lumber spine. Don't do exercises anymore because it can actually worsen your condition. Better to first diagnose and then start appropriate treatment.
Steroid injection is also needed in appropriate setting. You can also take calcium and vitamin d 3 supplements.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar,
