Hello,

Syncope, coughing: The temporary loss of consciousness upon coughing.

Under these conditions, people often become pale and feel nauseated, sweaty, and weak just before they lose consciousness.

Situational syncope is caused by a reflex of the involuntary nervous system called the vasovagal reaction.

You need to visit your doctor since certain antihypertensive medicines can also cause coughing and drop of BP if dose is taken unchecked or in higher amount which can lead to unconscious state due to decreased blood flow to the brain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
