Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 7-year old grandson has an uncontrollable temper tantrum once a week when he is crossed or not allowed to do something. This takes place only in the home. He is very bright academically and outside of chatting in class, has absolutely no problems. He has lots of friends but does like to be in control. He has never said "I love you to anyone" but he will hug and cuddle and shows affection very well. He is picking on his 5-year old brother as well although at times they play beautifully. His parents have gone to a child psychologist and last week when he was to join them, he refused to even go into her office. When he wants to avoid a situation or when someone speaks to him about his behaviour he puts his hands over his ears or refuses to participate. I am worried about him as he can be a sweet child and I love him dearly.
