What Causes Uncontrolled Laughter During Sleep In A Child?

My 5 year old son is laughing in his sleep. He complained of a head ache at dinner and looked very pale so he went to bed after only having two pieces of toast. I don t think he has a fever now, I just took his temperature ( it was 37.0 C). But should I be concerned about him not being able to stop laughing?
