What Causes Uneven Breathing Pattern And Blue Discolouration On Lips?
I am having trouble remembering to breathe. My circulation is fine. My lips sometimes turn blue. When I am not paying attention I will either forget to breathe or take deal breaths repeatedly. I do this unconsciously. My mother noticed it. I am 27 and female. What could be wrong?
As per your query uneven breathing pattern and blue discoloration on lips is mainly due to respiratory illness or obstruction which is causing cynosis due to increase in the concentration of deoxygenated blood, which occurs due to decreased oxygen in your body. It could be due to dislodgement of blood clot leading to obstruction of respiratory airway. I would suggest you to visit general physician immediately and get it evaluated as it seems to be alarming situation. Get consultation and start treatment accordingly. Do breathing exercises daily. Drink plenty of water to maintain hydration.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon. Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
