What Causes Unexplained Bruises On Stomach After Taking Ibuprofen?
Hello, I have been having severe pain in my upper stomach, sharp pain, almost like i feel like it is a heart attack or something.... lasts about 45 min... I take a ibpro..but the next morning my whole stomach from side to side feels really bruised. Help?

Hi..Ibuprofen is an NSAID which increases gastric mucosal injury by acid..It can increase the risk of peptic ulcer if taken for long duration..If you have to take Ibuprofen ,take ranitidine or pantoprazole or omeprazole also to reduce the symptoms...Thank you
