hi my mom is 80 years old she has dementia the doctor had started her on meds for dementia but she kept going to the bathroom watery every day for a month now so my sisters who are idiots kept giving her white rice and bannas now this week she went to the bathroom and all this slimmy stuff came out please help what can it be

Elderly people will have acute gastro enteritis frequently due to dyselectrolemia.get her serum electrolytes and blood sugars and serum creatinine checked once so that we can correct accordingly . get an ultrasound abdomen to rule out irritable bowel syndrome.Give electrobion sachets,tab.lomotil tab.orni-o twice daily for 5 days.consult your doctor for expert management.
