What Causes Unsuccessful Abortion?

I had an abortion a month ago, had to go back and get an ultrasound to found some tissue left over. The dr gave me a pill to take had unprotected sex he did pull out. Went back to the dr and he did another ultrasound didn t see anything and my pregnancy test is still positive. Am I pregnant

I have read your question in detail and will try to help you in the best way possible.

There is a very low chance for the urine pregnancy tesy to be incorrect. But still to be absolutely sure i would recommend doing a blood pregnancy test. Coz it can still be possible as u had unprotectes sexual intercourse and u can get pregnant again right after an abortion. And ultrasound would not show any fetus in the first few weeks of pregnancy as the fetus is too small and ultrasound can miss it.
If the serum test is also positive for pregnancy then it is also for sure that you are pregnant again.
