What Causes Unusual Reduced Bleeding And Spotting Along With Cramps?

I have had I very shirt period. It was one day with light pink discharge before and after. The one day however was very without any clotting. However now I m having cramps and my stomach is tight and hurts to lay on for long periods, like more than ten minutes. I m not sure what s going on I would like to be pointed in the right direction. I m 5 6, 172 lbs. My period started Wednesday(supposedly) with light pink discharge then turned brown on Thursday, Friday I bled very heavy and Saturday there was light bleeding then pink discharge again and Sunday it was brown. Monday was when I noticed cramping and the change in my stomach. I have had regular bowel movements and little gas so I m confused.

HELLO,
i can understand your concern.
i would like to know if your periods have been regular prior to this. do you use any oral contraceptive pills.
if this is one off, you need not worry about this. this might happen due to stress or some hormonal imbalance.
i would advise an anti inlammatory and antispasmodic drug like meftal spas for the relief of your symptoms.
an ultrasound scan of abdomen would be helpful in determing the condition of uterus and presence of any cysts in the ovary.
a course of hormones would be helpful if the problem persists for next cycle also.
