What Causes Unusual Swelling And Bruising On Foot?
Yes. Just today I noticed swelling and skin is black and blue on the bottom and side of a my foot just below the little toe. I do not remember stepping on anything or bumping my foot. It looks like a broken blood vessel. It is a large enough swollen area where it is somewhat uncomfortable to walk. Suggestions for treatment?
Hello, welcome to HCM. i think you have hurt yourself which was unnoticed. The capillaries in the skin have damaged exuding the blood. hence you are seeing black and blue colour. Dont get panic. it is simple small injury. Just put ice pack n that area to fasten the swelling reduction. it will take time to absorb the blood inside . so you will see the colour of the skin back to normal will take some time. Relax. Lessen the movements in that foot as far as possible. Take care.
