What Causes Unusual Swelling In Lips?

I have been getting swelling around the mouth. I figured maybe eating pork, but I stopped eating that for a few days and my lips swelled again the next day. I took Benadryl and that took care of it over-night, but again it happened again just yesterday. It. has been a week now that my lips have swollen at least three times within the week.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

As per your complain swelling of and around the lips in your case seems to be due to some or the other form of allergic reaction and as it is recurring you should get a blood test done to investigate the exact cause of allergic reaction and then the best way to treat the condition will be to avoid the allergen exposure..
As of now you can take Allegra 60 mg twice daily and do cold compresses over lips..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
