Three weeks ago after mowing grass without a dust mask I developed sinus infection, coughing and light fever. Saw an emergency care Doctor who gave me prednisone regiment, Biaxin, and cough syrup with codeine. One week later I m still very sick and saw second doctor. My primary care doctor said he didn t believe my sickness was from bacteria and was from allergies. He gave me shot and second regiment of prednisone and told me to take Benadryl. A couple of days in this treatment I developed additional symptoms. I have a metal taste in my mouth, everything I eat taste terrible including water, my urine smells like metal, my gas smells like metal, my stool is light brown, smells like metal and is very soft to the point of sporadic diarrhea during the day. I run about 1 degree fever almost everyday especially after 10 am and I become very fatigued after working about 3 hours and I become extremely sleepy. I get home from work lay on the couch and go to sleep until the next morning as a rule. I noticed that if I eat something when I get fatigued it will give me a little energy for an hour or so.
