What Causes Unusual Weakness In Left Leg?

My 90 year old dad s left leg was unusually weak today. He isn t great with his mobility and with a walker moves slow, but today there was a noticeable difference in his ability to walk.....I made an appt with his GP for tomorrow but was just curious as to what mite be going on.. Thanks, Lynn

Let me help you. Sudden weakness in left leg can be due to stroke or compression of the spinal cord or paraplegia. If he is a diabetic or has high B.P , immediately check both and consult a physician immediately.
