What Causes Upper Abdominal Pain And Tenderness In The Breast?

Hi. I am having really bad pain in my upper abdomen and it goes through to my back. I am also having very painful and tenderness in both of my breasts especially on the outer sides. I have never felt pain like this before. I am 35 and I am hoping that you could possibly give me an idea. Of what this could be. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Typically, upper abdominal pain is caused by something relatively minor, such as a pulled muscle, and will go away on its own in a few days.

You can use ibuprofen and rest for some days. If pain persists make abdominal ultrasound and X-ray of the chest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
