What Causes Upper Abdominal Pain, Muscle Cramps In Hands And Feet?
i have been currently been to the doctor for abdominal pain in my top area that is double me over in pain at first they said it was my pancrease then they said my liver now I have been having muscle problems they cramp up in my hands feet stomach well just about anywhere and they curl into themselves then release, just today I have small blisters around the lining of my lips that I have never had before and I am having trouble turning my neck
Muscle cramps are commonly due to dehydration, thyroid issues, muscle strain. Take plenty of water, soups & juices. Do not let Na, K depletion occur in your body electrolyte system.
You are suggested to visit ER, get clinically examined by a GP. You will have to go through few Blood & Imaging tests to detect pancreatitis, liver disorder, gall bladder issues, etc.
Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected. Avoid smoking, alcohol & addictions if any. Stay away from frozen, packaged, junk food, spicy-oily food.
Take home made food in small amounts 3-4 times a day. In the meantime you can take Antacids, PPI's for relieve. Take Spasmol (spasmoproxyvon), one SOS when pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
