General & Family Physician 's  Response
This can be due to a number of different reasons. It is possible that it is a stomach pain that can be due to multiple kind of stomach issues like peptic ulcer or dyspepsia which is a condition related to increased acidity in stomach. But the condition in which the abdominal pain radiates to back needs special attention and investigation as it can be due to serious problems like pancreatitis and peptic ulcer disease etc. That is why a visit to a physician is necessary in such scenario who can order an appropriate investigation for abdominal pain.
It is also possible that this pain is due to kidney stones. As this pain is happening on both sides that is why it is more likely a pain due to kidney stones for which an ultrasound abdomen should be obtained.
